Staff Accountant
WORK ENVIRONMENT: In office
TYPE: Full-time: Monday – Thursday 8am-4:30pm; Friday 8am – 3pm
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The staff accountant is responsible for supporting the finance team in the accurate and timely execution of accounting responsibilities including month end close, AP/AR support, reconciliations, financial reporting, and other financial projects as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience in an Accountant position or a related accounting role.
- Post-secondary Advanced Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, a related program, OR equivalent experience.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Experience with accounting software and the ability to learn new systems, including ERP. Experience with Syspro and/or Unicom Finance/Cognos is a plus.
- Advanced experience using Office 365, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing work priorities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and execute assignments with general guidelines and work independently.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Perform month end reconciliations and journal entries.
- Complete monthly working papers and provide flux commentary on variances.
- Execute, analyze, and distribute various financial statements and reports.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and facilitate payments.
- Investigate and respond to internal and external inquiries and provide data as requested.
- Assist in internal and external audit requests.
- Review AP payment runs for approval and accuracy.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Metal Fabrication Machine Operator
Trackless Vehicles is currently hiring a Metal Fabrication Machine Operator.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
– Operate the press brake
– Operate the drill press
– Clean work areas
Qualifications
– Good math skills
– Ability to read imperial measuring tools
– Good time-management skills
– Ability to work with others in a team environment
– Press brake operation experience is preferred
– G-Code programming experience is considered an asset
– At least 1 year of experience in a machine shop environment
– Any experience working with Mazak, Haas or Accurpress would be considered an asset
Schedule
– Full-time permanent position, day shift
– Monday to Friday for 43.5 hours weekly

Trackless Vehicles is currently hiring an experienced manual, production Mig Welder.
Responsibilities
– Welding of carbon steel assemblies
Qualifications
– Ability to work as a team and independently.
– No welding tickets or tools required.
– Experience in industrial welding.
– Knowledge of blueprint reading
– Able to use various imperial measuring tools
Miscellaneous
– All upper-body PPE supplied

Industrial Equipment Assembler
Trackless Vehicles is currently hiring an Industrial Equipment Assembler to join our team.
Responsibilities
– Duties include the assembly of municipal tractors, snow blowers, mowers, and other attachments manufactured by Trackless Vehicles
– Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products
– Inspect finished products to ensure proper function
– Maintain accurate production records
Qualifications
– Attention to detail
– Ability to work as a team and independently
– Mechanical experience in either past employment or from working on personal vehicles, bikes, snowmobiles etc. is considered an asset
– Ability to lift heavy items
Schedule
– Full-time permanent position, day shift
– Monday to Friday for 43.5 hours per week
