Aerator

If you want to build a healthy green space, an Aerator will help the soil beneath the grass to achieve your goal. Soil aeration is one of the easiest yet most beneficial maintenance tasks you can do. Improving soil drainage and encouraging worms and microbes will help control lawn thatch and reduce soil compaction, promoting root growth and a healthier, thicker top side.

Operation

The Trackless Aerator is mounted to the front of the Trackless MT, allowing the operator to keep the implement in their sights. The unique front-mounted design is far better for the operator. The operator never needs to turn around and look behind as they would with a pull-behind Aerator. With the Aerator out front, it is always in their line of sight, and they can guide it accurately around any obstruction. The tine discs/wheels turn when the tractor turns, so there is never any side pressure on the tines. Basically, the tine wheels steer with the tractor. Another great feature opposed to a pull behind Aerator is transporting from job to job. With the front mount design, an operator can raise the Aerator, shift the MT into high range, and they are on their way to the next job site without the inconvenience or expense of having to trailer the equipment.

Specifications

There are 12 tine wheels with 10 tines per wheel for a total of 120. The tines are 3/4 “ and will penetrate up to 3 “ deep. The overall pattern width is 72” and the aeration pattern is 5.5” x 6.5”. The weight of the Aerator is 1,050 pounds. Adjustable storage stands and lifting lugs are included.
